The Starr Center for the Study of the American Experience is offering fellowships for writers and scholars of American history. The center is based at Washington College in Chestertown, Md. Recipients will be granted a stipend along with housing, offices, and campus privileges. Deadlines are November 1, 2017 for the Patrick Henry Writing Fellowship and March 15, 2018 for the Hodson Trust-John Carter Brown Library Fellowship.
