Winter Issue of Diversity and Democracy is Released

Diversity and Democracy has just partnered with the Association of American Colleges and Universities for their latest winter issue.

This specific issue of Diversity & Democracy examines the methods and obstacles of faculty and student participation in publicly engaged scholarship and teaching, particularly in the arts, humanities, and design fields. Published in partnership with AAC&U and Imagining America: Artists and Scholars in Public Life, the issue highlights best practices for advancing publicly engaged scholarship through classroom and community collaborations, tenure and promotion policies, and higher education leadership.

The articles are categorized by section like Publicly Engaged Scholarship and TeachingCampus and Community PracticePerspective, and What’s Next. Titles include “Cultivating Growth at the Leading Edges: Public Engagement in Higher Education” by Timothy K. Eatman and Scott J.
