The Historic Preservation Office of Washington D.C. has released another installment of its Citywide and Ward Heritage Publications. Ward 7 Heritage Guide: A Discussion of Ward Seven Cultural and Heritage Resources is the second in a series of Ward-based heritage guides. It provides an historical overview of the area, identifying resources of cultural and historical note and provides a framework for developing strategies to promote and protect them as necessary. A goal of this commemoration of Ward Eight ‘s heritage is the enhancement of economic development, community sustainability, and quality of life measures.
