Vietnam War on display at New York Historical Society

The exhibit uses photographs, documents, digital media, artifacts, and other resources to tell the story of the controversial military operation on both the war front and the home front. 

The New York Historical Society has opened a new exhibition on the Vietnam War, 1945-1975. Using photographs, documents, digital media, artifacts, and other resources, the exhibit tells the story of the controversial military operation on both the war front and the home front. Visitors will explore themes of patriotism and citizenship in displays about the Cold War, the draft, military operations, and civilian opposition. The exhibit will be on display at the New York Historical Society’s museum until April 22, 2018.
