Oral History in the Mid-Atlantic Region (OHMAR) will host its annual conference, “Time to Chat? Oral History as Conversation” on Friday, April 29, through Saturday, April 30, 2022, virtually through Zoom.
According to the President of OHMAR, Melissa Ziobro, the conference features sessions relevant to oral history research, including interviewing and pedagogy. The conference also will offer a networking session and a skill-building workshop, in addition to the Martha Ross Prize and Pogue Award presentations. To register for the conference, click here. OHMAR is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and improvement of oral history. It provides a forum for sharing information on techniques and the application of oral history to historians and those interested in the subject throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Members include public and academic historians, librarians, archivists, teachers, folklorists, and independent researchers.
