Rowhouse City: History and Adaptation in Philadelphia

The Weitzman School’s Graduate Program in Historic Preservation and the Association for Preservation Technology Delaware Valley Chapter presents a two-day symposium, “Rowhouse City: History and Adaption in Philadelphia.” The symposium will take place from October 7 through October 8 at Meyerson Hall, Philadelphia.

“Rowhouse City” will explore the history of the rowhouse in Philadelphia, evaluate its current conditions, and identify the advantages and challenges of preservation in the twenty-first century.
