The Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums announced today that Rebecca Alban Hofberger, Founder & Director, American Visionary Art Museum, will be the 2011 Katherine Coffey Award recipient. The Katherine Coffey Award is given each year by the Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums to an individual in the Mid-Atlantic region to recognize distinguished achievement in the museum field. The Coffey Award ceremony is held annually at he MAAM Annual Meeting and is one of the pinnacle events of the conference.
The award will be presented at the Business and Awards Luncheon at the MAAM Annual meeting on Tuesday, October 11, noon, at the Sheraton City Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
