Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights announced that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will be presented with the 2022 Ripple of Hope Award in recognition of his courageous and inspirational leadership. The Ripple of Hope Award honors exemplary leaders across government, business, advocacy, and entertainment who have demonstrated unwavering commitment to social change and have worked to protect and advance equity, justice, and human rights. The award gala will take place on Tuesday, December 6.
According to Kerry Kennedy, president of Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights, President Zelensky “embodies the values” that their organization stands for and is “bending history, rallying his countrywomen and men to protect not only Ukraine but democracy and freedom.”
