The Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Collection is now accepting applications for the Historical & Archival Records Care (HARC) grant program.
This program provides funding to historical records repositories for uses such as collections care, surveying, preserving, arranging, and describing historical records. PMHC will award individual grants of up to $5,000. Collaborative grants, for which two organizations jointly apply, will be available for up to $10,000. Three organizations may apply jointly for up to $15,000. No match is required for these grants.
To be eligible for the HARC grant program organizations must be located in Pennsylvania, have a 501C3 tax-exempt status or be a local government entity, and their collections must be available for use in research. Museums operated by PHMC, historic sites and museums operated by state and federal government entities, and individuals are ineligible for the program. More eligibility information may be found here.
All grant applications must be submitted through eGrant. The deadline to apply is August 2, 2021.
