Philadelphia City Archives Moves

To facilitate the move, the current location will close on December 17. Deed requests will continue to be filled.

The Philadelphia City Archives are leaving the Bulletin Building in West Philadelphia for a new location at Fifth and Spring Garden Streets. The archives were officially founded in 1951 and have been housed at the Bulletin Building since 1998. To facilitate the move, the current location will close on December 17. Deed requests will continue to be filled, except for those requested for academic and historical research. The expected reopen date of the City Archives is September 1, 2018.
