Oral History in the Mid-Atlantic Region (OMHAR) will hold its annual conference in person at the Science Institute in Philadelphia from March 30th – March 31st. The theme is: “What is the Cost”: Exploring the Human and Financial Toll of Oral History.”
OHMAR encourages attendees to interpret the price of oral history broadly in context of “emotional labor, contests histories, and shouldering the financial burden of collecting, preserving,” and “making narratives accessible to future generations.”
Submissions on the conference theme are encouraged, but all topics related to the Mid-Atlantic region will be considered.
