OHMAR Announces 2022 Conference, Call for Papers

Oral History in the Mid-Atlantic Region has announced the theme and dates for its 2022 conference.

The 2022 Annual Meeting “Time to Chat? Oral History as Conversation” explores both how people approach oral history as well as the conversations they have about the topic. The conference will be held virtually on Friday, April 29 and Saturday, April 30.

OHMAR is also now accepting  paper, panel, and poster proposals for the 2022 Annual Meeting. Proposals can cover any topic related to the Mid-Atlantic region or a project by an oral historian in the region. However, presenters are encouraged to interpret the conference theme within the context of their work and projects. The deadline for all submissions is January 15, 2022. Submissions should be emailed to ohmar.conference@gmail.com with supporting information as attachments.

More information on the 2022 Annual Meeting and on submission guidelines can be found here.
