Nominations Open for the 2023 Preservation Achievement Awards

The Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia opened nominations for the Preservation Achievement Awards 2023. Nominations close February 3 at midnight, winners will be announced in March, and the awards event will be held June 6, 2023.

According to the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia, each year, the organization presents the Preservation Achievement Awards to a select group of individuals, organizations, and businesses for projects from the region that demonstrate outstanding achievement in the field of historic preservation.

The awards honor projects involved in the preservation or protection of historic resources such as “restoration, rehabilitation or adaptive reuse of historic properties; sympathetic new additions to historic buildings; or education, documentation, and advocacy work on behalf of the preservation of our heritage.”

The awards include Grand Jury Awards that celebrate the highest achievement in historic preservation and Special Recognition Awards, which are presented to individuals and organizations whose accomplishments in preservation “contribute to the region’s unique character and sense of place.”
