The next meeting of the New Jersey Studies Academic Alliance (NJSAA) will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2015. The location is the Pane Room at the Alexander Library, Rutgers University, 169 College Avenue, New Brunswick. The meeting is free and open to the public. It will begin with a business meeting at 3 pm. This will be followed at 4:15 pm by presentations of student winners of the 2014 Paul Stellhorn Award for their undergraduate papers:

-Erik Snyder, The College of New Jersey, “Stronger Than the Storm: Why the Great Atlantic Storm of 1962 Failed to Scare New Jersey from its Shore.”
Members and guests are welcome to attend the meeting, and urged to stay for the talk and discussion. Refreshments will be served.
The next scheduled meeting will be in the fall. The speaker will be Brian Regal of Kean University on the legend of the Jersey Devil in the context of New Jersey politics.
