The New Jersey Historical Commission will hold its next public meeting on Wednesday September 19, 2012 from 10:30 am to noon. Following a brief NJHC business meeting and lunch, attendees will treated to a discussion and guided tour of the Tuckerton Seaport & Baymen’s Museum in Ocean County. A fully functioning maritime village, the Tuckerton Seaport tells the story of New Jersey’s baymen through interactive exhibits, a wetlands nature trail, aquatic displays, the New Jersey Surf Museum, and much more.
