The New Jersey Council for the Humanities (NJCH) requests proposals for “Visualizing Democracy: Contemporary Conversations.” According to the NJCH, the Democracy Conversation Project is an initiative that seeks digital projects that will “explore, curate, and visualize a recently created conversation archive” on the state of democracy in New Jersey and beyond. Proposals selected for commission will receive $2500-5000, depending on the scale of the project.
Proposed projects may utilize a range of digital mediums such as GIS and story mapping, graphic design, animation, short films, virtual exhibitions, etc. Applicants offered a commission will have three months to complete their projects.
