The New Jersey Historical Commission (NJHC) announced an NJ350 Publication Initiative for 2014 which will fund applications for research, writing, and publication of new books on New Jersey history. More information on this program is available at www.history.nj.gov.
To participate in the NJ350 Initiative, applicants must submit a Declaration of Intent and application electronically through the System for Administering Grants Electronically (SAGE) at www.sage.nj.gov. New users will have to register to access SAGE. Application forms are not yet available but NJHC suggests interested parties begin the registration process now. The Declaration of Intent is due September 9, 2013 and the form must be started no later than August 8, 2013. Applications are due by 11:59pm October 1, 2013 and must be started no later than September 10, 2013.
