New Jersey's Comprehensive Statewide Historic Preservation Plan finalized

From NJDEP Historic Preservation Office:

The New Jersey Historic Preservation Office and Preservation New Jersey announced this week that New Jersey’s Comprehensive Statewide Historic Preservation Plan has been finalized.  It explores and evaluates New Jersey’s history of preservation and presents a unified vision of historic preservation in New Jersey moving forward.  The New Jersey Historic Preservation Office and Preservation New Jersey encourage municipal governments to adopt the plan and provides a select bibliography, links to preservation agencies in New Jersey, and a list of actions they can take to implement the preservation plan at the local level.

This plan is intended to guide the New Jersey Historic Preservation Office, and provide direction to state, county, and local government agencies and to private organizations and individuals in their efforts to protect and to preserve New Jersey’s rich and diverse history, in economically and environmentally responsible ways.
