The New Jersey Historical Commission will hold its next public meeting at the Vietnam Era Museum & Educational Center on September 17, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. After the Commission meeting, participants are invited to explore the Vietnam Era Museum & Educational Center with Executive Director, Bill Linderman. There will also be an opportunity to experience the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial with the Foundation’s Vietnam
Veteran tour guides.
Dedicated in 1998, the Vietnam Era Museum & Educational Center uses New Jersey as a microcosm to help visitors
understand the reality of the conflict, the social, political and cultural complexities of the war years and how they were experienced in the state.
The event is free but registration is required.
