Join us on Rutgers Day for Discovery Tours and Encyclopedia Fun

April 30 is Rutgers Day, and the MARCH team will be there to offer a close-up look at two of our ongoing research and civic engagement projects: the Cooper Street Historic District and The Encyclopedia of Greater Philadelphia. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., walking tours will depart from Johnson Park every half-hour to explore the history, public art, and architecture of the park and the Cooper Street Historic District. A rotation of four tours, each lasting about one hour, will be offered throughout the day. Also visit us in the Campus Center, where the staff of The Encyclopedia of Greater Philadelphia will challenge you to explore the region with a digital scavenger hunt and a Camden Connections game based on newly published coverage of Camden history.
