The Jewish Museum (New York) Appoints Claudia Gould New Director
Claudia Gould left her position as the Director of the Institute of Contemporary Art at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia to assume the post vacated by Joan Rosenbaum. The Jewish Museum press release can be found here.
Margarita Aguilar New Director of El Museo Del Barrio (New York)
El Museo Del Barrio appointed Margarita Aguilar its new director effective September 12, 2011. Aguilar was curator at El Museo between 1998 and 2006 and also served as Vice-President and specialist in Latin American Art at Christie’s.
