The New Jersey Historic Trust announced the recent publication on the Economic and Fiscal Impacts of Heritage Tourism in New Jersey. Tourism Economics and the New Jersey Historic Trust evaluated the economic impacts of heritage tourism in 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the report, heritage tourism generated a total “GDP impact of $3.0 billion and $357.5 million in state and local tax revenues” in New Jersey in 2019.
