At its annual meeting on October 20th, the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance announced it had selected Maud Lyon as its incoming President.
Most recently, Lyon served as the Executive Director of CultureSource, a Detroit-based association of arts and culture non-profit organizations. Her achievements include growing CultureSource’s budget from $250,000 to $1.2 million, and increasing organizational membership from 30 to 115+. Under Lyon’s leadership, the organization also launched IXIT.com, a one-stop website for arts and cultural events in Detroit, Ann Arbor, and the surrounding region.
Lyon will assume her position in early 2015.
