The dedication of the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial has been rescheduled for October 16, on the sixteenth anniversary of the Million Man March. Organizers originally planned to hold the dedication on August 28 to honor the forty-eighth anniversary of King’s “I Have a Dream” speech, but were forced to postpone the event due to adverse weather conditions caused by Hurricane Irene.
