The Council on Library and Information Resources has announced the winners for its 2017 Digitizing Hidden Special Collections and Archives Awards. Many of the prizes went to institutions in the Mid-Atlantic region, including the Free Library of Philadelphia, Columbia University, Bryn Mawr College, The University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Washington. The awards were granted to projects that digitized unique collections of high scholarly value. Details about all of the winners are available on CLIR’s website.
