The Interdisciplinary Society for Quantitative Research in Music and Medicine has issued a call for proposals for their 2019 conference, “Music Meets Medicine.” It will be held June 7-9, 2019 at Molloy College in Rockville Center, New York. Scholars of music, music history, and related fields as well as health practitioners are invited to submit a proposal for an oral presentation, panel discussion, experiential workshop, or poster exploring the relation between music and physical, spiritual, and mental health.
