The New Jersey Council for the Humanities has issued a call for posters for the 2018 New Jersey History and Historic Preservation Conference, to be held June 7-8 at Passaic County Community College in Paterson, New Jersey. The theme of the conference will be “Building a Place for History.” Students – undergraduate and graduate – as well as new professionals are encouraged to submit poster proposals for consideration. Proposals should address history, historic preservation, archaeology, museum studies, architecture, planning, and/or public history, especially as these themes relate to New Jersey. The deadline for proposals is April 30. Posters will be presented at the conference on June 8. A prize of $250 will be awarded to the best presentation.
