The Department of British Studies at Rutgers University New Brunswick has issued a call for papers for their upcoming nineteenth century history workshop, War/After War: Memory, Fear, Indifference. The workshop will be held October 4-5 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and will commemorate the centennial of the conclusion of World War I. Papers should address how war shaped the “long nineteenth century,” from the American and French Revolutions through World War I. The deadline for applications is May 1, 2018.
