A call for papers has been issued for the upcoming New York Sports and Politics Conference, to be held December 15, 2018 in Brooklyn, New York. The conference, a collaboration between Queensborough Community College of New York and Nord University, Norway, will address the historical and contemporary ties between sports, sporting events, and politics. Papers should focus on this topic as it relates to one of four overarching themes: environment, exploitation, stereotypes, and scandals. The deadline for proposals is May 31, 2018.
