The Center for Material Culture Studies at the University of Delaware has issued a call for papers for their Spring 2018 Emerging Scholars Conference. Papers should address the production and use of hazardous material culture. The deadline for panel and individual proposals is November 10, 2017. Confirmed speakers will present their papers at Hazardous Objects: Function, Materiality, and Context, the center’s 15th annual material culture symposium for emerging scholars.
