The American Philosophical Society has issued a call for papers for their 275th anniversary conference, to be held September 27-29 in Philadelphia. The theme is “Past, Present, and Future of Libraries.” Scholars, librarians, and other professionals in the field are encouraged to submit paper proposals touching on the themes of library science and the potential for its future. Potential topics include the history of library science, current technology, practices, and issues, and the impact of the digital revolution. The deadline for submissions is May 15.
