Call for Papers: 2019 Pennsylvania Historical Association Annual Meeting

The Pennsylvania Historical Association invites proposals for its 2019 Annual Meeting, being held October 17-19. The conference theme will be “Constructing Citizenship and Community." Proposals are due by March 15.

The Pennsylvania Historical Association invites proposals for its 2019 Annual Meeting, being held October 17-19 at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. The conference theme will be “Constructing Citizenship and Community,” but the program committee welcomes proposals on all aspects of Pennsylvania and Mid-Atlantic history, including: traditional scholarship; panels that feature pedagogy, public history, or material culture; round-table discussions; and student posters.

Full session proposals are preferred; individual papers also considered. All are welcome to apply.

Membership to the PHA is required to present at the 2019 Annual Meeting.
