The Graduate School of Design at Harvard University and Dumbarton Oaks Research Library have issued a call for papers for their 2019 conference, to be held May 3-4, 2019 at Dumbarton Oaks in Washington, DC. The conference theme will be Landscape, Sport, Environment: the Spaces of Sport from the Early Modern Period to Today. Papers should address the relationship between sport and recreation, landscape, and culture, including their intersections with race, gender, and class. The deadline for submissions is May 1, 2018.
