On May 10, 2014, author John R. Wennersten will discuss his new book, The Historic Waterfront of Washington, D.C. (The History Press), at the National Building Museum in Washington, DC., 12:00pm-1:30pm. The book explores the early history of D.C.’s waterfront as well as 20th century redevelopment and the challenges facing the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers today. A book signing follows the talk.
