From Publisher’s Weekly:
It was announced earlier this month that Arcadia Publishing purchased The History Press Inc, the U.S. subsidiary of the U.K. based The History Press Ltd. The companies represented the two largest publishers of books based on local or regional content; Arcadia’s backlist includes 9,000 titles, The History Press approximately 3,00o.
Richard Joseph, Arcadia CEO, maintains that editorial operations—both based in Charleston, South Carolina—will remain separate and that publication under The History Press imprint will continue. Read more about the acquisition by clicking the link above.
