The Smithsonian announced that the National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) will debut a major exhibition, Afrofuturism: A History of Black Futures, on March 24, 2023.
Afrofuturism: A History of Black Futures will explore the history of Afrofuturist expression and culture through literature, activism, music, art, and more. Select objects will be utilized to elevate stories that speak to Black liberation and social equality.
