AASLH Announces 2012 Award Winners

The American Association for State and Local History has announced the winners of the 67th annual Leadership in History Awards.  This year, AASLH has awarded fifty-nine national awards honoring people, projects, exhibits, books, and organizations.

Special congratulations to the Mid-Atlantic recipients!

The Woodrow Wilson House in the District of Columbia received an Award of Merit for its exhibit Woodrow Wilson, President Electric: Harnessing the Power of Innovation in the Progressive Era.

The Brooklyn Navy Yard Center at BLDG92 received an Award of Merit for the development of its museum.

The New York Historical Society Museum and Library received an Award of Merit for excellence in telling the story of the history of New York City.

The Olana Partnership in New York’s Hudson Valley for its Viewshed Symposium.
